On the results page, you have a "Display options" tab on the top right. This will let the user view their results in different formats, sort by relevance or date, and limit/expand the amount of results one sees on the page.
When you create an account with NCBI, you can save searches and results that are organized on a personal dashboard.
Get acquainted with the Advanced Search Builder in PubMed. This will help you build your search by letting you choose search fields and Boolean operators. It also keeps track of your search history, search details and number of results.
