Several electronic resources provided by the Advocate Health - Midwest Library contain images that are useful in presentations and other scholarly works. Some even include handy tools to download images directly into PowerPoint slides with citations and copyright statements already included. Those resources' licenses generally cover using images from these resources in works such as educational presentations and research documents.

AccessMedicine contains tens of thousands of photos and illustrations to aid in visual diagnosis which authorized users can save and download to presentations for educational purposes. Create a MyAccess profile to download multiple images to PowerPoint with citations and references automatically populated.

A web-based collection of digital images and anatomical models of the body. Users can move models in various directions, add or remove layers of body structures, associate various imaging (MRIs, CT scans, cadaver, etc.) to the anatomical models, view functional anatomy animations of muscle motion, label or highlight body parts, and download or save images for use in presentations.

Anatomy.tv is an interactive multimedia resource including 3D anatomical structures, clinical slides, dissections, animations and much more. All their materials can be used for educational/research purposes. The Save panel on the left side of anatomy.tv pages allows you download movies and slides and you can then add them to presentations.
BMJ allows readers to convert illustrations from BMJ articles into PowerPoint slides easily. All the reader needs to do is click the link marked “Download powerpoint.” A PowerPoint slide will be downloaded to the user's computer including an automatically generated citation and copyright attribution.

Images found in ClinicalKey can be added to PowerPoint through the Presentation Maker. Create a personal account to save images from ClinicalKey and add them to your presentations with their Presentation Maker tool.

The LWW Health Library: ObGyn provides a digital learning tool for ObGyn residents that will aid in their learning experience by providing access to texts designed to enhance their understanding of essential topics. LWW Health Library: ObGyn is curated to provide essential knowledge to ObGyn residents related to general obstetrics and gynecology as well as the subspecialties of gynecologic oncology, female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery, maternal fetal medicine, and reproductive endocrinology & infertility in the ambulatory and hospital-based setting. Resource is a static collection of books in the collection in 2022; newer books/videos/other content will not immediately become available.

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) is recognized as the world’s leading medical journal and website. Additionally, the NEJM site has CME activities, cases, challenges, videos, and more teaching and learning tools from the New England Journal of Medicine.
The Advocate Health - Midwest Library's institutional licensed subscription to NEJM allows authorized users to use PowerPoint slide sets and downloadable images, figures, and videos for presentations and teaching. NEJM features Images in Clinical Medicine in each issue.
