Creating an MyAccess Account

The MyAccess account is a single access point for Access Medicine, AccessAnesthesiology and AccessEmergency Medicine.

Steps to create a MyAccess Account:

  1. Go to AccessMedicine.
  2. Click “Sign In | Advocate Health - Midwest Library” found inside the drop-down box in the upper right-hand corner of any page. Once there, click “Sign in or Create a Free MyAccess Profile.” 
  3. Click on the “Create a Free MyAccess Profile” link. 
  4. Fill in the registration form under the heading, “Create a MyAccess profile.” 
  5. Press the "Create Profile" button. 
  6. The window will display a registration confirmation.
  7. You can now use these credentials to log into the Access app

Installing the Access App

Use these links to connect to the Access app and conect to Access Medicine, AccessAnesthesiology and AccessEmergency Medicine.

Once the app is downloaded, enter your MyAccess account username and password to start using the app! 


Please Note:

  1. For continued access to the app, you must sign in to your MyAccess account every 90 days on a computer connected to the Advocate Health - Midwest Region network on-site, through a VPN, or via LibLynx.
  2. The Access app is in beta testing and the full app will be available after August 2023.
