ClinicalKey: Remote Access

Registering for a Personal Account for Remote Access

Use your personal account to set up remote access to ClinicalKey. Remote access means that you can log into clinicalkey.com from any computer, on any network, without having to start out on the library's website. 

To set up remote access, go to ClinicalKey. If you already have a ClinicalKey account, click “Login” and login with your credentials. If not, click “Register” and complete your registration to get a personal account.

Once logged in, click on your name and select “Remote Access.”

When prompted to choose your organization, select "Advocate Health Care, Inc. Remote Access" and select continue. Enter your aah.org e-mail address, and you will receive an e-mail asking you to activate your remote access within 60 minutes.

Log in to your ClinicalKey account at least once every 180 days using the link on the library's website. (If you are not on an Advocate Network, you will be prompted to log into LibLynx with your SSO credentials.) This will renew your remote access and account. If you do not do so, your remote access will expire and you will have to follow the same procedure to reactivate it.
