The best way to connect to library resources is to use the links on our website. But, if you have discovered an article or other resource via a web search, link from social media, etc., there's a method you can employ to save time.
The LibLynx Bookmarklet will let you reload a web page through LibLynx. If the web page you are visiting is one that the Library has a subscription for, you will be prompted to log in to LibLynx and then get right into the resource (if the Library owns a subscription).
To use the LibLynx Bookmarklet, you have to create a bookmark in your browser:
In Chrome or Edge*:
In Firefox:
- Right-click on the link to the right, then select "Bookmark this link" option: LibLynx Bookmarklet
To create a bookmark manually:
- Use whatever method your browser designates to make a bookmark manually. Bookmark this page. Then edit the URL to include the following code instead of a web address:
javascript:void(location.href='https://liblynxgateway.com/aah?url=%27+location.href)
- You can edit the name of the bookmark; we suggest calling it "LibLynx Bookmarklet."
Once you have created the bookmarklet in your browser, click that bookmark whenever you want to reload a page through LibLynx.
