Chicago, IL: This 1965 photograph from the Medical Library at Illinois Masonic Medical Center shows Resident Dr. Richard C. Zimmerman paging through a journal while Library Assistant, Margaret Winters, shelves the book "Advances in Internal Medicine".
Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago, IL opened in 1907. Picture is taken from a 1925 Ravenswood School of Nursing yearbook called The Raven.

In 1969 Milwaukee Hospital held its first diabetes education program with over 100 people attending. Physicians, student nurses, and hospital dietitians, including Mrs. Ann Agee, Therapeutic Dietitian (second from left) presented at the talk. Mrs. Agee also appeared on WITI-TV6 and the Milwaukee Journal radio station to talk about artificially sweetened food and diabetes.

Oak Lawn, IL: This 1974 photograph shows construction of a $25 million expansion mand remodeling program. The sign reads "Christ Community Hospital regrets any inconvenience caused by our expansion program". At the time Christ Community Hospital was part of Evangelical Hospital Association, precursor to Advocate Health Care.

The Augustana Hospital School of Nursing trained a total of 3,245 nurses from its start in 1896 to its end in 1987.
