How does the Advocate Health – Midwest Library support the enterprise?

by Elizabeth Suelzer, MLIS, AHIP on 2024-07-17T14:31:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

Advocate Health has Six Pledges that are a road map for our success as a combined organization.

Over the next few months, we will show how the Advocate Health - Midwest Library supports each of these pledges, and we will be featuring our high-quality resources and services provided by library teammates and information specialists.

This month we look at our first pledge to Elevate Clinical Preeminence and Safety

The enterprise has created an enterprise-wide Safety and Health Outcomes Dashboard to measure quality goals and metrics. These goals spark teammates’ quest for information and evidence on how to deliver quality care.

Librarians support this by searching the literature on topics which have supported quality improvement projects for individuals as well as teams. Our library assistants provide fast document delivery service to save clinician time.
