Process for Advocate Aurora Health teammates to submit works to the Advocate Aurora Health Institutional Repository

Step One: Check for Duplicate Items

Navigate to the SHARE website and check to make sure this work hasn't already been deposited. Using the Search box on the left side of the screen, type in keywords from the title, a PubMed ID, or author name. Make sure none of the results match your work before proceeding.

Step Two: Gather Necessary Information

Before you begin filling out the form, have some basic information ready to copy/paste from your work:

  • Title
  • Authors
  • Publication/Presentation Date
  • Presentation Notes, if applicable
  • Award, Grant, Leadership, Peer Review, or Media Mention notes, if applicable
  • Abstract, if applicable
  • Document Type
  • DOI, if applicable
  • Book chapter or book details such as publisher, editors, etc., if applicable

Step Three: Fill Out Contribution Form

Go into the Contribution Form, agree to the Contribution agreement by checking the box, provide your contact information, and fill out the rest of the form. If you have the above information available, filling it out should take less than five minutes to complete. Give us a few details and you're done!
