What is SHARE @ Advocate Health - Midwest

SHARE @ Advocate Health - Midwest serves to identify, acquire, preserve, make accessible, and highlight digital information which has been created by all Advocate Health - Midwest teammates in support of the organization's mission to help people live fully.

Content includes, but is not limited to:

  • Published journal articles
  • Book chapters and books
  • Conference abstracts (full text preferred)
  • Conference presentations and posters (full text preferred)
  • Archival material such as photos, annual reports, digital publications, etc.

Library staff already collects most journal articles into SHARE, but we need authors and programs to submit other content such as conference presentations, posters, and books/book chapters.

Benefits for Authors

  • Visibility: Google will find your work more easily
  • Discoverability: Find out what your colleagues across the system are working on and identify opportunities for collaboration
  • Publicity: Showcase scholarly works of your department or specialty
  • Demonstrating your impact: Monthly readership reports sent to all authors; dashboard metrics include downloads, geographic reach, and PlumX alternative metrics; readership maps also available
