The AAIDD is an interdisciplinary organization of professionals that provides information and advocacy on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ANA is a professional society of academic neurologists and neuroscientists devoted to advancing the goals of academic neurology; to training and educating neurologists and other physicians in the neurologic sciences; to expanding both our understanding of diseases of the nervous system and our ability to treat them.

The NCLD provides information to parents, professionals and individuals with learning disabilities, promotes research and programs to foster effective learning, and advocates for policies to protect and strengthen educational rights and opportunities.

NINDS manages and funds research on about the brain and nervous system and uses that knowledge to "reduce the burden of neurological disease for all people".

The purpose of the NDTA is to improve treatment and outcomes for patients with neuromuscular dysfunction by providing advanced therapist education that improves skills in assessment, evaluation and salient functional treatment.
