- Writing correspondence. ChatGPT is designed to simulate human language, so it's a great tool that can be used to compose written documents like letters, emails, and other correspondence. It can even compose song lyrics and make up jokes.
- Solving math problems. ChatGPT can help you take real world problems and explain how to apply mathematical concepts to solve those problems. For example, if you need to adjust the ingredients in a recipe due to a shortage of one ingredient, ChatGPT will explain how to do the calculations.
- Explaining complex issues in simple terms. You can ask ChatGPT to explain a concept that might normally require reading and filtering information from multiple information sources. Caution: ChatGPT and other large language models may include biased information or misinformation, so you should research answers before applying this information to real-world situations which may carry risk.
- Writing code. ChatGPT has learned coding languages like Python, Javascript, and SQL, so it can be used to write code that otherwise might take a human coder more time to produce.
- Preparing for interviews. You can have ChatGPT pose interview questions to you or you can ask ChatGPT to provide answers to interview questions you might be asked.
