The Advocate Aurora Library Team Salutes Veterans!

by Elizabeth Suelzer, MLIS, AHIP on 2022-11-10T15:19:00-06:00 | 0 Comments

November 11 is Veterans’ Day, and AAH library staff recognizes the service of our country’s veterans. We particularly want to thank our fellow Advocate Aurora team members who are veterans.

We also wish to show our gratitude to our team members who care for veterans. We have created a web page to highlight library resources which can support the health care of our veterans to help them live well.

Resources include:

Cover ArtCare of Military Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families by Stephen J. Cozza, Matthew N. Goldenberg, et al. This book is designed for clinicians in all care settings and provides thorough coverage of U.S. military structures and cultures across the armed services, as well as detailed material on the particular mental health challenges faced by service members and their families. The book's comprehensive review of resources available to military service members, veterans, and families both ensures high-quality care and reduces the workload for treating physicians.
