January 23 is Integrative Health Day

Integrative health, according to the UW School of Medicine and Public Health's Osher Center is defined as "what matters most to you and your reasons for wanting to be healthy.  It includes everything about you–body, mind, spirit, lifestyle, and your connections with other people and your surroundings" (2022).

Whether you want to look up the effectiveness of supplements and herbs you are taking, or if you are caring for patients who are interested in an integrative medicine approach, you can find information on our Integrative Medicine Guide.

Natural Medicines

Remember that just because something is natural, doesn't mean it is safe. Use Natural Medicines to look up effectiveness of natural products, learn about adverse effects and counterindications. Includes most common herbal plants and supplements. Health & Wellness includes an A-Z list of diets and natural therapies.
