How the Advocate Health - Midwest Library Supports Building the Next Generation Workforce

by Elizabeth Suelzer, MLIS, AHIP on 2024-11-06T11:19:00-06:00 | 0 Comments

Advocate Health has Six Pledges which are a road map for our success as a combined organization. This month we examine our pledge to Build the Next Generation Workforce. Advocate Health is committed to advancing the career development of its teammates and preparing the next generation of physicians and advanced practice health professionals.

Librarians support learners with consultation and teaching on literature search strategy and evaluating information to support evidence-based practice. Learners can be residents, medical students or teammates working on an advanced degree. Classes are offered virtually or in-person to groups as well as one-on-one consultations. Our seven library spaces are a source for quiet study and provide access to computer workstations and electronic resources.
