Like many departments, the Library is challenged by a significant budget cut for 2023. Additionally, our resources’ (journals', databases', etc) costs increase greater than inflation annually. While we’d like to retain everything, we must make some reductions to meet our budget target.
In consultation with Surgical Services, we have decided to replace the AORN eGuidelines which are continually updated with an annually published electronic book. Our AORN eGuidelines subscription will end at the end of August. The Guidelines for Perioperative Practice is now available as a static electronic book and we will purchase the new edition when it is available.
